I'd been storing a crate full of Perrier bottles for three years before I finally got around to photographing them for this painting. Then it took me another year and a half to finally get to this painting which I'd originally wanted to do as one of my very first pieces. I have a real affinity for patterns and repetition, and enjoyed portraying the sea of bottle tops while exploring the variances from one bottle to another.
