While visiting the Chicago area this past August, I finally got around to painting the martini's that so many folks have been asking for!

     As always, these started out as photographs I took. I dropped a skewered olive into a martini glass of  .  .  . vodka if you will :) and shot it with two strobe flashes in order to capture that magical moment of distortion and energy! I then set out to make it something new with acrylics on wood panels.

     I have a third image ready to work with, but haven't gotten back to painting it yet.
