    While bouncing around Florida this past February, I decided to take the green apple series somewhere new  .  .  . and wet!

     As always, these started out as photographs I took. I dropped an apple (a couple hundred times, in fact) into an aquarium, and shot it with two strobe flashes in order to capture that magical moment of distortion and energy! I then set out to make it something new with acrylics on wood panels.
