URGENT SALE!!!  URGENT SALE!!!  URGENT SALE!!!

Firstly, let me start by welcoming all the folks who recently signed up at the Costa Mesa and La Jolla shows!

     Secondly, let me declare -
S*O*S!!!

I'll explain: I don't normally use this venue to vent about my own personal duress, but I've just suddenly been hit by a deluge of minor fiscal disasters (including some sudden, pricey dental work for Roderick Jr.) and I have mere days to come up with a fair chunk of cash flow before I head for Colorado for six weeks of shows.

MAKE AN OFFER!!!!
NOTHING WILL INSULT ME!!!

I leave on Wednesday, July 1st and am in rather desperate need of some income PRIOR TO THEN, so if there is any particular piece of REStevensArt you've been considering, I'm feeling quite flexible on pricing, and NOW is the time to write or call and make me an offer! And don't forget, I can also spread payments out over time on a credit or debit card.

(above) - "green skinny splash" and "red skinny splash". These are the latest pieces in the "apple splash" series and are both 12"x36" paintings on wood panel, priced at $1,500 each ($1050 for my noozleddar folks). Signed and numbered, limited edition reproductions are available at 12"x32" and 16"x40" for $495 and $895 respectivel
y.

These are just the first two in a collection of new pieces I've been excited to share with you, so READ ON!!!

(below) "American Paint" - 24"x36" mixed media piece including wood, canvas, metal, acrylic and latex paint (as well as whatever else spilled on my canvas over the past two years), paint tray, roller brush, glue and polyurethane.

I haven't yet talked much about this, but I am gradually building up a new body of work entirely based on the American flag. Whereas most artists will apply their 'one particular' style of art (painting, sculpture, drawing, etc.) to a variety of subjects, I have decided to use a wide assortment of artistic approaches to ONE subject. I will be adding to this collection over the Summer, and hope to have one entire wall of my display devoted to it by the Fall. This is the first piece, and as you can see, I've used a collection of leftover painting materials and some cedar boards to build this unique piece. I've now hung it at three shows, and it's quite the attention grabber! :) The price is $2500 ($500 off for noozleddar subscribers).

(below) "ring toss"  This is a painting I've been wanting to tackle for over three years. I took the reference photograph of this collection of Perrier water bottles in early 2008. I love patterns and repetition and was excited to demonstrate the evident 'sea of circles' motif while exploring the variances from one bottle to the next. Of course, true to my usual tendency for simple titles, this was to be called "green bottles", until another artist friend stated that it reminded him of the 'ring toss' game at the carnivals. I excitedly changed the name. :)

(below) "American cola". This piece was not originally intended as part of my "American Flag" series (mentioned above), but just happened to be an image I've been wanting to paint. It proved to be another one of those for which I enjoyed the reference photograph, but found it REALLY came to life as a painting. I especially like how the folds and embroidery of the flag came out.

Both of these above pieces are 24"x24" paintings on floating wood panels, and are available for $1800 each ($1,500 for noozleddar subscribers).  Signed and numbered, limited edition reproductions are available in 20"x20" and 30"x30" for $495 and $895 respectively

I've got plenty more to share in the next issue!
I hope your Summer is shaping up nicely!
