Hello!!! to everyone who joined the list in Texas and then St Louis!
And happy Memorial Day!
As many of you learned, at the last minute I finally
slipped into the Main Street Ft Worth lineup, and as usual was greeted with
record sales and a steady flow of visits from friends and regulars as well
as new collectors! Fortunately, this year I had Roderick Jr. with me to help!
Southlake followed with similar results including delivering "1000 words"
(the giant Polaroid Camera) to it's new home! (click on the image below to
see a larger picture)
Cottonwood proved to be quite the show this year in
spite of the deluge of water and frightening micro-burst (the same one that
damaged the Cowboy's practice stadium) on Saturday afternoon. Lastly, my
first time visiting the St Louis area, at the Laumeier Sculpture Park proved
quite successful as well! It's been a GREAT SPRING!!!! I'm sure grateful to
be home for a while, as I recently realized that in all of 2009 thus far, I
have been home for a total of three weeks!
In the mean time, included herein are some new pieces that
sprang from REStevensArt this Spring (that pun was entirely unintentional
believe it or not), as well as a fantastic special price on a limited
edition reproduction of a classic, award winning piece from the early
collection!
(above) These are the latest in the "apple splash" series and
are only 12"x12" on wood panels and can be hung either diagonally like here
in my display in Houston, or squarely. These are $450 each or $650 for the
two, but for "noozleddar" subscribers, I'll take another $100 off either of
those prices!

plane I" Continuing my obsession with paper these days, this is a 36"x48"
case with a giant piece of blueprint (canvas and sheet metal) partially
folded into the very paper airplane it demonstrates. This was completed whilst I
was loitering about in Houston and like all of my other artwork - IT'S FOR
SALE!!! :)

Well, as mentioned in the previous issue - I've been outgrowing my art
show vehicles, and while in St Louis I acquired a big,
black, box truck which shall soon be christened The Batmobile. I'll share
