Hello everyone!
Well, Jr and I flew back home temporarily from Colorado where
I had two surprisingly great shows! The Avon and Edwards art festivals were probably
the two slowest shows I've ever attended. I'd almost bet between the two I
never saw more than 600 people in six days, but I guess I was visited by
just the
right dozen of 'em! :-)
Of course the fruits, especially the apple splashes
(the originals of which were shipped to their new home in Boca Raton, Fl.)
were quite popular. I also completed a new (partially dissected) red apple
painted on black melamine. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of it - but
I'll try to remember when I set up at my next show IN CHICAGO!!!!
Admittedly, when traveling alone I tend to spend as
much time being productive as possible. Having my son with me gives me a
reason to experience some of the more recreational aspects of life; such as
ice skating (right) and whitewater rafting (below) for the first time in our
lives! GREAT FUN!!!!
