    HAPPY 50th Noozleddar!!!!

    Well, I'm back from my 3rd Texas run! For three weeks I set up, tore down, painted, met thousands of people, avoided tornados, built another typewriter (see right), and even sold a few pieces of art; like this new green apple piece, below. It was finished on a Friday morning, hung in the booth Friday afternoon, and purchased by a Texas collector Friday evening. That sure is a nice contrast to the paintings that take three weeks to complete, and bounce around the country with me for a year! :-)

(below) "black apple study". Some of you in Texas will have seen this piece twice now, but I thought I'd share it with the rest of the list now as well. I imagine this may be an ever-evolving piece. It is a HUGE one (at least for the shows) at 48" wide by 36" tall. I think I will just keep playing around with it until someone purchases it. Not sure where I'm headed with it yet, but I'm just enjoying the experiment.

NEXT WEEKEND!

REStevensArt will be in
BOOTH # 206
right on Rodeo Drive!

Check out the 2008
"Show Schedule"

     Now, just a reminder that most of us will be receiving our 'economic stimulation' checks from the IRS very shortly. My suggestion;

STIMULATE THE ECONOMY!!!!
BUY ART!!!!

     Remember, that especially for you folks receiving this noozleddar, I am happy to ship art on just a deposit, and let you spread out the purchase over several months on a credit or debit card. I also offer unstretched canvasses, printer-proofs, and slightly damaged pieces at HEAVY DISCOUNTS!!!!! Just let me know what you're looking for, and I'll see what I can do!

     Meanwhile, this week I am trying to get the very last of my exterior finishing done on the house, as well as finalizing the rough plumbing, whilst also finishing up a couple of paintings, starting on a new mixed media sculpture piece and preparing for my last show for a while - Beverly Hills (see left).

     Upon my return from SoCal, I'm hoping to spend about a week getting the 2nd bathroom, my son's bedroom, and the spare room ready for us to move into. Then I will dedicate the following 6 weeks to FINISHING THE HOUSE!!!! Finishing being a relative term of course; enough for the lender to call it done. Click here to see the progress through March.

     As always, thanks for reading, collecting, and enjoying!
