Well, I thought I'd toss out one more note before I hit the road for Texas again. This time I intend to do FOUR shows. I will be in Austin this coming weekend, then on to try and grab a spot at the Main Street Ft. Worth show, followed by Southlake Art In The Square (in the same spot as the last two years). Then lastly, a show I've never attended before; Cottonwood, in Richardson, Tx.
As it's been for the past year and a half - it is during these art show trips that I can actually get any artwork done! :-) Such as the few new green apple pieces on the right, which I painted in between Florida shows. So I hope to have a few new pieces to show you all in the next few weeks. Possibly even some more in the way of mixed media (see the "just words" typewriter, below/right).
Also, for the first time since December, I've updated the house-building progress page. http://www.restevensart.com/House/house_home.htm. We are at the home stretch, with primarily finish electrical and plumbing, and drywall to do. As of the end of March, I can say for the first time that there is indeed a twinkle of light at the end of this long, massive, overwhelming, seemingly never-ending, yet fulfilling tunnel.
