So first of all, the Mt. Dora Art Festival was a great success! What a great community, and fun show, which I intend to visit again next year.
Meanwhile, a year of building has kept the flow of artwork pretty sluggish, and it's been great to actually spend some time painting during and in between these art shows in Florida. I've got four new pieces going all at the same time at the moment, but the first one (right) was just finished a few hours ago!
The continuing intrigue in the black apple piece has had me thinking for a while about doing a white one. I'm currently working on another one on a white background rather than the black one. Very different effect.
