Happy EGGNOG!!!!

I must admit, "eggnog" is one of my favorite times of the year! Unfortunately of course it always leads to a more strenuous January  .  .  . 'sigh'.

Welcome to all new subscribers from the Tempe Festival of the Arts, and the 4th Avenue Street Fair! After these shows I flew out to San Diego to shoot a series of Chevy/Outdoor Channel interstitials (commercials). It was a lot of fun, though QUITE COLD, shooting on two lakes near Temecula, Ca. I included some pictures from the shoot (below / right).

Don't forget to check out this month's -

- before it's too late!   Click here to see them in last month's noozleddar!

(left) Top to bottom, these are -  "blur", "streak", and "splatter". With the popularity of the 'green apple', I decided to pursue a series of assorted 'abstractish' renditions of the same image. These are just the first three which I created in between gusts of wind and rainstorms during the Tempe Festival of the Arts.   I plan on doing quite a few more of these pieces, and have some really fun ideas for them. They are all on 16"x16" wood panels. Giclee's will also be available this week.

Another reminder that I am ALWAYS looking for charities that might make good use of some artwork. Among other recent recipients, the American Cancer Society, the 'Friends of the Brown Canyon Ranch', and the 'Forgasch House' all acquired giclee's to auction off at their fundraisers. If you are aware of any organizations that could use such a contribution, please do send me some contact info.

(above) Meanwhile, I'm still plugging away at my nest on the hill. Oh, how I'd love to say that I'm finally, completely closed in. I've eluded to this seemingly unforeseeable milestone several times in the past, but I believe I'm still a week or so away from actually accomplishing it. The kitchen windows, required the countertops (custom, concrete of course), which required installing the cabinets, and building the forms, etc., etc., etc. See the latest progress here!

Back to work now, but I wanted to send out one more note before Christmas. Have a MERRY one, and thanks all for reading and collecting.
