Hi
everybody!!!!
Sheesh! It's been nearly six weeks since the last 'noozleddar'!
I've been frantically trying to get the house closed in, and have barely
taken time to breath, let alone put a note together. But worry not, someone
pointed out I was turning blue, and I remembered to breath again. I think
I've even gotten emails from some of you, to which I've not yet responded.
The past six weeks has seen my inbox bloat up exponentially! My apologies.
Please forgive me, and try me again in March! :-)
The house continues to roll along. We're finally
closed in, and are starting the exterior finishing and such. You can see the
latest progress here -

(above) Brian snapped a pic of me through what has become known as the "belltower"
as I'm working on the loft trusses.
(left) Here I'm teaching a class about the nutritional value of produce :-)
Meanwhile, It's been nice dipping my toes back into the art world. Last
weekend (Oct. 6 & 7) was Art In The Park, here in Sierra Vista. Once again
there was a great turnout, and I got to try out my nice new "Flourish"
canopy! I finally decided to invest in the "Rolls Royce" of canopies, and
I'm lovin' it so far.
Then this past weekend, I taught a workshop on
photorealism. Actually, since I don't consider myself 'seasoned' enough to
be a teacher - it's more like I simply shared with folks how I go about
producing one of my more popular paintings; the "green apple". I will share
the finished product in the next issue. |
