So, here's a little something new!
After having so much fun with the fruits, I decided to visit some veggies! I thought it would be fun to do the three peppers together, and set up the composition, and I'd also decided to go for the white limbo background for these. While painting the piece, I found myself itching to go somewhere new with it. It was during this process that I came to identify the aspect of painting that seems to appeal to me the most for now. Illusion! I love creating effects with paint and brush that give the illusion of depth, and light, and texture. My son suggested that I put three actual piles of paint on the painting, but I explained that part of what I enjoy is painting a 2-dimensional image to appear 3-dimensional. I must say . . . this was fun . . . I might be on to something, here. :-)

as is (gallery wrapped). These are signed
and varnished (but not numbered/ltd. edition), and shipped to you ready for
stretching. I will even cover shipping to anywhere in the continental U.S.
