Roderick here! I decided to generate a bit of a "newsletter" for REStevensArt! Mostly, it's just a note to remind everyone that I will be at the upcoming "Affaire In The Gardens" art show in Beverly Hills, and I hope to see you there!

Affaire in the Gardens Art Show
October 15th & 16th
The Fall 2005 "Affaire in the Gardens Art Show" will be held Saturday & Sunday, October 15 and 16, from 10am to 5pm at Beverly Gardens Park. The free show features art by more than 200 exhibitors from around the nation, who showcase their work in photography, painting, sculpture, watercolor, mixed media, ceramics, jewelry, drawings, graphics and prints.

Held each May and October since 1973, the Art Show is one of the most popular art events on the West Coast.



 

ArtFest of 5th Avenue, Scottsdale

I am due to be placed somewhere between Rexford and Crescent Drives - in space number 403. Bare in mind there are rare occasions in which the booth assignments change.
"reunion II" will be there, and is the latest piece. It is a 24" x 30" on a gallery wrapped canvas such that the image wraps around the 1.5" thick edges as well. I'll be toiling away on "reunion III" while at the show!
   This past weekend, I participated in the Huachuca Art Association booth at the Sierra Vista Art In The Park. What a blast! It was bunches -o- fun, and of course being "home" I got tons of visitors. I 'almost' completed "reunion II" while there, but got a bit lazy and distracted.

Prior to that, I attended the Fall Festival at the Art Barn in Pinetop, Az. Gorgeous weather and a HUGE adjacent car show, made for an entertaining weekend. Here I first premiered the new "uniform". too! Yes, that's right, I'm a KILT-MAN now! And yes, I have a backup plan already in place! :-)


The weekend following the "Affaire In The Gardens", I will be at the ArtFest of 5th Avenue in Scottsdale, Arizona October 21st, 22nd, and 23rd! I'm not sure of the exact location, but I'm scheduled to be in booth #139.
 

ArtFest™ of 5th Avenue is a twice a year Festival located in the Arts District of DownTown Scottsdale, home of galleries, picturesque storefronts, and the famous BOB PARKS HORSE FOUNTAIN. These are three-day festivals, combining Fine Artists from across the country with food, music, and fun! Visit this historic shopping area and discover the unique shops and creative artwork in these innovative Festivals.
