BACK to "House Home"
 

I'm hoping to be have Jr. and I be able to stay in the house sometime this month. For me the requirements are functional toilet, hot shower, and running kitchen sink and cooktop. We're focusing on getting the West wing done, which includes Jr's room, a bathroom, and the 2nd bedroom (where I will stay until my room is done - which will be the very last room).

This is the framing for the 2nd bedroom closet. The overhead space and soffet will house the evaporative cooler ductwork.

Here you can see the ductwork installed. I used a combination of existing metal houses and flanges, and duct made of foil-backed foam insulation.

I've now heard of "flickers". They are related to woodpeckers, and apparently EIFS finish over foam SOUNDS LIKE A TREE!!!

Saw my first rattlesnake for the Summer down on the main road near the highway (not near my house yet).

The 2nd bathroom is taking shape.

Almost DONE with the 2nd bathroom. I just need a medicine cabinet, TP holder, and doorknobs and it's done . . . I think.
