MARCH '08

BACK to "House Home"

More final-coating (at this point, Peaches - aka Dwayne - has taken over that mission every other Saturday or so), more plumbing and electrical (almost done as of April 1st), and LOTS-o-drywall!

The East wing cap wall is final-coated. I just have to hand apply the top and ends so as to avoid spraying all over the copper roof.

Here's what it looks like as of the end of March. S L O W L Y getting there.

Running all the electrical and plumbing through the 2nd bathroom wall. These hands were made for painting and filming . . . not plumbing. :-)

Here's the 2nd bathroom all closed in except the ceiling. The bath tub drain was a real pain! Nope. Not interested in plumbing on the next one.

Though it is covered in clutter, here is the poured and cured concrete island countertop just prior to grinding.

I finally started my kitchen soffit, recessed lights and all. Cabinets will eventually fill the space between the fridge/freezer and overhead soffit.

I decided a flat ceiling in the hallway just wasn't going to do. :-) Not tedious and time-consuming enough.
