The garage forms are ready and waiting for the pour.

Rather than grounding rods, I incorporated a "ufer" ground into my garage slab/rebar. Much more better!

I drilled 4 - 3' holes to put my steel culverts into. Two are supports for the loft (above the kitchen) and two are for the roof over the dining room.

Finishing up the footings forms, and starting to spread the first lift of A/B for the kitchen/dining room floor.

Using the loader to lift these 20' long culverts into the air - thus far the scariest thing I've done in building this house.

I pondered for six months how I was going to get those two steel tubes up. Glad it's behind me.

NOT a fan of the cold - but I must admit this sure was a beautiful surprise. Unfortunately weather stalled my concrete pour for two weeks.
